Speed Up SATA Harddrives in Windows Vista

windows Vista, by default, doesn’t enable the advanced write caching feature of SATA hard drives

You can considerably speed up your SATA hard drive by enabling this.

To do this, Open Device Manager by running “devmgmt.msc“.

Open the “Disk drives” section of the tree.

Right-click on your hard drive listed there.

Select the “Policies” tab.

Check the box to Enable advanced performance.


Save Presentations To The PowerPoint 97-2003 Format

PowerPoint 2007 saves the Powerpoint files in the new .pptx format, which cannot be opened by the pervious versions of office.But there is a easy way to save the power pointpresentations in an older power point format.so that it can be opened in older versions of office.

To do this,

1. Open the PowerPoint 2007.

2. Click the “Office” button.

3. Select the “PowerPoint Options” in the bottom.

4. Select the “Save” in the Left Pane.

5. Click on the drop-down menu for Save files in this format.

6. Choose “PowerPoint Presentation 97- 2003“.

7. Press “Ok“.
